IPL Biologicals is hiring an experienced Fermentation Manager for its Haridwar location. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing industrial fermentation processes for high-quality biofertilizer production while ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize industrial fermentation processes for high-quality biofertilizer production.
• Monitor and control fermentation parameters including pH, DO, temperature, aeration, agitation and foam.
• Lead, train and manage the fermentation team.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot process issues, contamination and batch failures.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to scale up and improve processes.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze fermentation data, prepare reports and drive process efficiency and yield improvement.
• Ensure proper control of raw materials, process efficiency and operations.

Required Experience & Skills

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in fermentation or biotechnology manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of industrial fermentation processes.
• Experience in process optimization, troubleshooting and scale-up.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Strong team leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to analyze fermentation data and improve process yield and efficiency.
