Key Responsibilities
- Develop reporting solutions according to internal reporting standards and best practices.
- Collect, validate, interpret and organize data into meaningful reports and summaries.
- Maintain and improve the reliability, efficiency and functionality of existing reports.
- Conduct team request intake sessions to understand reporting requirements and project priorities.
- Analyze data issues and recommend system and quality improvements.
- Maintain and enhance data iteration processes.
- Collaborate with system owners to improve upstream data processes.
- Train users and team members when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- At least 1 year of SQL experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without visa or residency sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following experience or skills may be preferred:
- Experience with reporting technologies such as Cognos, SAS, Alteryx, QlikView, MicroStrategy, Business Objects or Tableau.
- Experience with data consolidation and modeling.
- Experience working with PBM, medical claims, pharmacy claims, healthcare or benefits data.
- Experience implementing quality and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience documenting business requirements.
- Experience creating training materials and working directly with end users.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in Tableau.
Salary & Benefits
Potential Pay Range: $59,000 – $94,000 per year
