Role Overview

As a part of the IBNG (Intent Based Networking Group), the selected candidate will contribute to test automation and manual testing of the Nexus 9000 Data Center switches, enabling intelligent infrastructure for cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand software system specifications and develop test plans
• Write modular and scalable test automation using Python/C/C++
• Work on network protocols like TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, and routing protocols
• Collaborate with diverse and talented teams in data center and cloud networking
• Use tools like Jenkins, Git, AI/ML-based test frameworks
• Engage in Test Driven Development and CI/CD pipeline testing

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

• Python, C/C++, Git, CI/CD, Jenkins
• Networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, Routing)
• Network automation (Openconfig, Netconf, YANG)
• Storage subsystems, SAN/Fibre Channel protocols
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in software test engineering in networking
