Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Process billing for customers, patients, and organizational platforms.
- Reconcile outstanding insurance and patient balances.
- Contact insurance providers and patients regarding pending claims.
- Collect payments and resolve billing issues.
- Maintain collection agency accounts.
- Post charges, payments, and adjustments using billing software.
- Ensure accurate medical billing documentation.
- Communicate professionally with physicians, patients, and team members.
- Perform general administrative and office-related duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Codes.
- CPC and/or AHIMA Certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service experience.
- Experience in Ophthalmology, Optometry, Ambulatory Surgery Center, or Optical billing.
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management.
