Flipkart is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager Grade 8 to lead large-scale warehouse operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a 3–4 lakh sq. ft. fulfillment center.
- Track and improve key performance indicators like delivery times and order accuracy.
- Oversee inventory management and related assets within the region.
- Launch and operationalize new fulfillment centers.
- Drive initiatives to make warehouse operations more efficient.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize the supply chain and distribution network.
- Manage a large workforce, both on-roll and off-roll employees, fostering ownership and empowerment.
- Control costs and ensure financial accountability for warehouse operations.
- Develop, motivate, and mentor the team to achieve goals.
- Implement new systems and technologies to improve warehouse processes.
Key Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehousing.
- Skills: Strong leadership, people management, and high accountability.
