Role Overview
Hinduja Renewables is looking for professionals to lead procurement for Class B and Class C components in their renewable energy projects. The position is based in Mumbai and involves handling critical procurement processes essential for the smooth execution of clean energy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic procurement of Class B (e.g., cables, panels, UPS) and Class C (e.g., connectors, ancillaries) components.
- Drive cost optimization through effective vendor negotiations.
- Build and manage a strong supplier database.
- Manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process using SAP.
- Negotiate mid-value contracts to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Stay updated on market trends to support procurement strategies.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in procurement (preferably in power or renewable energy).
- Proficiency in SAP for procurement (P2P) is essential.
- Strong understanding of the electrical component vendor landscape.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech Electrical / EEE).
- Contractual knowledge is a plus.
