Position: Executive – IPQA (Quality Assurance)
Department: Quality Assurance
Location: Pallekele, Sri Lanka
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Male Candidates Only
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant field
• Familiarity with quality standards and methodologies (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.) will be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems and processes
• Conduct operational quality inspections of production premises
• Monitor manufacturing and packing IPQA (In-Process Quality Assurance) activities for cGMP compliance
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement
• Ensure that batch manufacturing records (BMR) and batch packing records (BPR) are maintained and updated
• Perform sampling for sterility, MLT, finished products, process water, and retention samples
• Support internal audits and assist in the preparation for external audits
• Collaborate with production, F&D, QC, and stores teams to resolve quality-related issues
• Stay updated on industry best practices and quality standards (ISO, GMP, etc.)
