Job Description:
As a Digital Software Engineer Analyst at Citigroup, you will contribute to building scalable, secure, and efficient applications by writing high-quality code and collaborating with senior engineers. You will analyze data, evaluate processes, and recommend improvements while ensuring the integrity of the systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, test, and implement software features under senior guidance.
- Solve technical challenges using appropriate technologies and tools.
- Participate in systems analysis, feasibility studies, and provide cost/time estimates.
- Write secure, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and design solutions.
- Engage in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, feature prioritization, and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and clients.
- Complete technical assessments and certifications to demonstrate your expertise.
- Adhere to company policies and regulatory compliance to safeguard Citi and its clients.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years experience in application development or relevant internships/projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Exposure to cloud-based, high traffic distributed services is a plus.
- Experience with Java microservices, Angular, and UI technologies preferred.
- Ability to work with third-party service providers and lead initiatives is a bonus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
