Role Overview:
As a Finance Trainee Apprentice, you’ll work on key accounting and reporting processes, focusing on automation and transformation. This role offers structured training and hands-on experience in the dynamic world of Amex Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation solutions for data handling
- Analyze large datasets for regulatory reporting
- Maintain documentation for reporting processes
- Understand system architecture and data interlinkages
- Optimize and enhance reporting workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional Finance teams
- Support ongoing projects and SOP updates
- Ensure adherence to financial policies
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science / IT or related field
- 0–11 months of experience
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or similar languages
- Familiarity with SDLC, RPA, ETL, Machine Learning
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau
- Basic understanding of finance concepts
- Strong communication skills and a positive learning attitude
