🧩 Role Value Proposition
As a Jr. Software Dev Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software systems that align with enterprise goals and platforms. The role may span across a full technology stack or focus on specific platforms (SaaS/COTS), contributing to core digital transformation initiatives.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements, creating user stories and estimates
- Support in development, testing, and implementation of frontend/backend applications or platforms
- Participate in code reviews and SaaS/COTS configurations
- Help resolve production incidents and service requests
- Identify and implement technical solutions to real-world problems
- Ensure consistency in design and adherence to development best practices
🛠 Technical Skills Required
- Experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps
- Hands-on with Database Development Tools
- Knowledge of Secure Design & Coding Practices
- Experience in Cloud-Native Technologies
- Application monitoring & Feature Flag implementation
- Knowledge of US insurance industry (preferred)
- Strong communication & collaboration skills
